Hello Ruby!

 Welcome back to my blog! Today we will learn about Hello Ruby and to use it to educate about computational thinking.  But first... What is Hello Ruby ? Hello Ruby is the world's most whimsical way to learn about computers, technology and programming. The story started with a book, and now Ruby continues her adventures in exercises, activities and videos. It’s suited for kids age 5 years and older (but even adults might learn something new). GIMP

Hello and welcome to my blog! 

 Today, we learned how to use MyApps in the URJC page and we opened GIMP!

GIMP is an app that we use to edit pictures.

Exercise 1:


I wrote I love ICT and I wrote my name also. I changed the fonts and the style. I used the paint bucket to paint the text with another picture of a purple storm. Then I added some filters and effects and this is the result.

Exercise 2:


For this one, We had to use the magic wand and select the background to later invert it and cut the character. The I opened the image 3 and I pasted it in the middle, I moved it plenty of times but I liked better in the center.
